PC Software - Nokia Nseries PC suite
Download Nokia Nseries PC suite.
The bridge between your life, your device and your PC.
Nokia Nseries PC Suite is a collection of advanced applications that seamlessly link your Nokia
Nseries multimedia device and your PC. Transfer photos or videos from your device to your PC. Create a multimedia diary. Rip and
copy your favorite music to your device. Synchronize your calendar and contact information. Use your device as a modem for your
PC. Install the latest applications. And with Single-Click Sync settings you can instantly synchronize all your data between
your device and PC with one tap of the mouse.
- Modem drivers
Use your phone as a data modem for a compatible Windows-based PC.
Unless otherwise noted, modem drivers require Windows XP or 2000.
Please note: PC Suite includes all of the drivers and management features you need to use your phone as a modem. For easiest modem installation, Nokia recommends that you download Nokia Nseries PC
Suite .
For a cable modem connection without PC Suite, download and install the Nokia CA-53 cable driver .
For a wireless modem connection without PC Suite, download and install the correct driver(s) below.

- Music Software
If you don't already have a music player installed in your computer, you can download a compatible player by following the links to the provider sites below.
Extra plug-ins are also required to use Windows Media Player 10 or Apple iTunes with your Nokia N91. Please see below.
Important: If you use Nokia Nseries PC Suite to manage your mobile music, be sure you have the latest version. Download PC Suite.
Please note: Select the music player software to download based on your computer's operating system. For instance, Microsoft Windows XP users must use Windows Media Player or PC Suite, not Apple iTunes. (To check your Windows version, click the Start menu. The version name is displayed on the left side of the menu that appears.)
Windows Media Player 10
If you do not have Windows Media Player 10 installed on your Windows computer, please get Windows Media Player 10 from Microsoft.
With Windows Media Player 10 you can:
- Import music from your CD collection to your Windows XP PC
- Transfer WMA and MP3 files from your Windows XP PC to your Nokia N91 (1-way)
- Select music automatically and manually
- Create playlists on your PC or Nokia N91
- Access track info such as albums, artists, genre, etc.
- Minimum requirement: Windows XP operating system
To check your version of Windows Media Player
1. To start Windows Media Player application, click the desktop icon or go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Windows Media Player
2. In Windows Media Player go to Help menu and select About Windows Media Player
3. An "About Windows Media Player" window will open, from which you can see the version number, eg. Version: 9.00.00.3250
4. If the version is not 10 or above you need to get Windows Media Player 10 from Microsoft.
Note: To use Windows Media Player with your Nokia N91 requires the Nokia N91 driver for Windows Media Player 10.

How to download
1. Click on the Download button in the previous screen.
2. A dialog box titled "File Download – Security Warning" will open. Select a place to download the installation file, such as your desktop, and then click Save.
3. Locate the file you just downloaded "N91 -mtp.inf" and click once on the file with right mouse button. Select "Install" from the menu that appears.
4. Once installed Windows Media Player 10 should recognize your Nokia N91.
Nokia Music Manager for Mac
- Import music from your CD collection to your Macintosh hard drive
- Transfer AAC and MP3 files from your Macintosh hard drive to your Nokia N91 and back again (2-way)
- Select music automatically and manually
- Create playlists on your Mac or Nokia N91
- Access track info such as albums, artists, genre, etc. (with Nokia Music Manager plug-in)
Note: Music purchased from the Apple iTunes Music Store cannot be played on the Nokia N91.

The date of the "Daylight saving time" will be changing in certain countries during 2007. This application updates database in the device containing the daylight saving time dates. This will help e.g. in avoiding a conflict in calendar synchronisation if the device and PC are having a different time. Please restart your device after installation for the changes to take effect.

This application accelerates the sending of SMS messages. It is recommended that you install this application to prevent slowness in SMS sending, which may occur over time if you send lots of SMS messages.
You can download this application, then transfer and install it on your phone. This can be done in the following ways:
1. Download to your PC and transfer it to your memory card or phone, then run the application.
2. Use PC Suite "Install Applications".
3. Download directly from the nokia.com link in your phone's Services browser (where available) to your phone and install.
Please note that some users may find that the handset runs slower for a few minutes after the installation, before returning to normal. The application is invisible to the user.

Installing phone software
- Download the file to a compatible PC. If it is a ZIP file, you may need to extract it manually before continuing.
- Transfer it to your phone using Nokia Nseries PC Suite and a Nokia Connectivity Cable CA-53, Nokia Connectivity Cable DKU-2 or wireless connection.
